Ballroom dance watercolor painting

I have continued with my ballroom dancing watercolor painting over the weekend.  Have painted the man’s head and a did another couple of watercolor washes on his ballroom gown.  His shoes and the ladies gown under the tail of the man’s gown is also painted.   The shoes and the gown probably will be needing some more watercolor layers.  What I am really thinking  about now is what kind of background I should give to this painting.  There are lots of options and I need to come up with one that compliments the subject and yet it will let it stand out.
